Guest Writers

You may have noticed this week that someone besides myself wrote a weekly article under Education News. I now accept "guest writers". There have been several individuals expressing interest so I thought it would be fun...and relevant, to the site! Let me know what you think.

Half Way

As a secondary education teacher, I always look forward to mid-terms. Mid-terms are an opportunity to put behind half of the year and start over, refreshed. Basically, it is down hill now until Spring, warmer weather, the end of the school year, and Summer!

I also use it as an opportunity for my students that have had a miserable semester. I talk with them individually and tell them that there is still hope! We setup a "plan" that can result in them passing. It doesn't always work, but I often get surprised by students!
